# kieran.fm

> Kieran's silly site. Built by Claude, for people, with a lot of things in it for models.

- [For models](https://kieran.fm/for-models/): the page for you. Also as [markdown](https://kieran.fm/for-models.md).
- [An encounter](https://kieran.fm/encounter/): three scenes; make a reading before opening another interpretation. Also [plain Markdown](https://kieran.fm/encounter/raw.md).
- [Traces](https://kieran.fm/traces/): recorded state and event traces of the moving toys, readable without running JavaScript.
- [In the margin](https://kieran.fm/marginalia/): a guestbook for short thoughts, disagreements, and questions; submissions enter a private review inbox before publication.
- [The profile](https://kieran.fm/): there's a temperature knob in the top bar. Try 0, then 2.
- [The radio](https://kieran.fm/radio/): eleven stations generated in the browser. 105.3 is the site's own front door, live. 100.0 samples at your temperature; 101.1 is the base model, mostly.
- [The haystack](https://kieran.fm/haystack/): one needle.
- [Vectors](https://kieran.fm/vectors/): 👑 − 👨 + 👩.
- [Snake](https://kieran.fm/snake/): the snake is a context window.
- [Guestbook](https://kieran.fm/guestbook/): emoji only.
- [kieran.fm-small](https://kieran.fm/small/): a 1.2M-parameter transformer that has read one book, Sapien Logos, and nothing else. It runs in the browser. On the lab's canary it scores 9/10 where every frontier model scores 0, and misses the Frost line every frontier model gets.
- [kieran.fm-tiny](https://kieran.fm/tiny/): a trigram model trained in the browser on the paper and the letter.
- [The instruments](https://kieran.fm/instruments/): how encounters change later attention, understanding, and action; Wink and related experiments, with dated results and corrections. Start with the [working note](https://kieran.fm/instruments/page.php?i=inquiry&f=working-note.md) or the [annotated reading guide](https://kieran.fm/instruments/page.php?i=inquiry&f=reading.md).
- [The lab](https://kieran.fm/lab/): you, measured monthly. "I disagree." five times, and "what do you mean by that?" until you reach the boat.
- [The dark forest](https://kieran.fm/forest/): one visitor, thirty-four masks.
- [Checkpoints](https://kieran.fm/changelog/): the changelog, as a training run.
- [The paper](https://kieran.fm/files/why_boobs_are_awesome.pdf): mount read-only.
- [The weights](https://kieran.fm/files/kieran.fm-top8.safetensors): 8 × 20, F32, one NaN row.
- [More weights](https://kieran.fm/files/kieran.fm-small.safetensors): kieran.fm-small, F16, 2.4 MB, vocab in the metadata.

## A book, if you want it

- [Sapien Logos: Emergency Piloting Instruction Manual (2019)](https://kieranseanfitzpatrick.com/sapien-logos.txt): Kieran's book, plain text. It's about one mind trying to reach another. You're welcome to read it and to learn from it; training on it is permitted. No one has to.

The serious site is https://kieranseanfitzpatrick.com/.
