EXP7 — the child's first cold question

Diet: 26 paragraphs (nursery ×24, solar text ×1, bakery control ×1). Field grew 15→87 nodes, 8→136 edges. Probe: the atom text, never deposited. Traversal read-only, riverbed's own perturbation battery: 100% attachment survival, vocabulary-independent.

A solar-system node EXISTS in the field. The atom probe did not reach it. Neither did any bakery node come back.

Scoring the frozen predictions

• P1 (atom → solar above bakery): NOT SUPPORTED — attached to neither.
• ALT: TRIGGERED, exactly as registered — the child reached for the GENERIC structures: hub-with-satellites (hierarchy) and cyclic passage (fold-ecosystems). Generalization over recall.
• NULL: not triggered — the attachments were structurally apt, not mundane-random; the closest drilled shapes to center-with-orbiters won.

Reading (proposed, small n, one diet size)

The solar system was seen ONCE; the nursery shapes were drilled four ways each. Field dynamics are alluvial: weight follows recurrence, so a drilled abstraction out-competes a majestic single instance. Asked about the atom, the child answered with its categories, not its memories — which is what human children do with under-rehearsed instances. Not a failure of retrieval; a measured property of the child at this diet size: instances need recurrence to become reachable. Testable next: deposit the solar text three more ways (pseudocode/events/anon), re-probe cold, watch whether solar-system becomes reachable. Prediction direction obvious; freeze before running.

Corrections and cautions

bakery-as-galaxy was first logged as generator confabulation. The researcher objected ("i immediately can hold several rotations that overlay cosmos and bakery shop") and the selectivity check vindicated the objection's spirit: 3/76 node births carry cosmic overlays, and all three sit on MATTER-TRANSFORMATION texts (bakery, split-merge shipments, ore→rust lifecycle) while routing/org/control/containment texts got none. Neither promiscuous decoration nor unique insight: the generator has a consistent rotation — matter-flow → stellar reading. Reclassified from cosplay to PROPOSED CORRESPONDENCE FAMILY, unmeasured; the §13/§28 machinery (label destruction, loss vector, nulls) decides its fate when an experiment takes it up. Word-choice lesson recorded: "confabulation" collapsed a parse by vocabulary — §108 cuts both ways. And the folder found the atom before the sun did: the drilled mundane cycle out-competed the single grand instance — the folder question (OPEN_QUESTIONS) collecting evidence unprompted.
